By booking a session with Better Learning, you (the “Student”) and, if under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian (the “Guardian”), agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• Better Learning provides tutoring services primarily to students between the ages of 14–18 (grades 9-12).

• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your participation. By booking, you confirm such consent has been obtained.

2. Booking & Access

• Sessions must be booked in advance using the Better Learning scheduling system.

• Zoom links provided for sessions are unique and non-transferable. Distribution or sharing of links is strictly prohibited.

• Better Learning reserves the right to monitor, remove or block any unauthorized participant.

3. Student Conduct

• Students are expected to behave respectfully toward tutors and peers at all times.

• Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour (including misuse of chat, video, use of offensive language) may result in removal from the session without refund.

• Students must not share personal contact information (email, phone, social media) with tutors or peers during sessions.

4. Privacy & Safety

• Better Learning records only the minimum personal information necessary for booking and communication (name, email).

• Better Learning will not record session content, nor distribute without express written consent by the Student or Guardian. Similarly, session content is not to be recorded or distributed without the express written consent of Better Learning.

• Students must join online sessions from a safe and appropriate environment.

5. Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed securely through Better Learning (powered by Squarespace) during the sign-up stage. We do not store payment details directly.

• Subscription fees are non-refundable except in cases of system errors or cancellations by Better Learning.

6. Tutor Substitution

• Better Learning may assign substitute tutors if a regularly scheduled tutor is unavailable.

• We strive to maintain quality and consistency, but specific tutor availability is not guaranteed.

7. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

For students under the age of 18, the parent/guardian assumes full responsibility for compliance with these Terms, including ensuring appropriate student conduct.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Better Learning provides math support but does not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

• Neither Better Learning nor its tutors shall be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

9. Amendments

• Better Learning reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services after updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
