Rohail Qureshi, MASc, BEng

Rohail has a background in Biomedical and Mechanical engineering from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. He discovered his passion for teaching others through tutoring math to his peers while in high school. He was a private tutor for many years thereafter and has tutored students of all ages and backgrounds. He has more than 12 years and hundreds of hours of tutoring experience under his belt.

“With a subject like Math, regular practice is crucial to success.” With that in mind, and a desire to fill the lack of both quality and readily accessible live math help available to high school students in Ontario, Rohail founded Better Learning - an online math help drop-in centre. “Better Learning’s mission is to make academic support for math more accessible, engaging, and effective for the students of today”. Rohail’s goal is simple: to give students a space where they can improve their math not just by memorizing formulas, or looking up facts, but by understanding concepts, and thereby truly learning.
